Sorry to all!!! I've never been emailed about posts to this thread, just happened to drop by!!!
I've re-upped to my new server so the links in the 1st post should now work. I'll revisit this thread tomorrow to catch up and see if I can address people's issues.0 -
congrats! How do I fill in other dates in the year, (drag and drop in excel>?)0

@mariamartinez
You only need to fill in Week 1 date on the TrainingPlan worksheet, the rest of the dates are calculated from that date. I'm not on a PC so I'm not sure if the Excel spreadsheet has been saved correctly, but TrainingPlan:B20 is the date to change. B21 should have the formula "=B20+7", then when you're on B21, click on the bottom right corner of the cell(icon is a small black square I think) and drag it down until you get to week 52(B71).
The WeeklySchedule worksheet references all the dates in B20:B710 -
Thanks for your effort, good job!
I have a question about the WeeklySchedule sheet. Isn't the blue Planned column supposed to change when you choose a Workout selection? It doesn't - only the Workout column changes, but the Planned columns is fixed at some preset numbers. See attached screenshot. Can you enlighten me please?

Apologies for the delay, I'll have a look at this tonight after work, but yes they should be changing.0 -

OK. The blue columns change depending on what you select on the TrainingPlan tab. This determines the hrs on each day that you will workout.
When you use the dropdown on the WeeklySchedule that then changes the Workout type that you should be doing.
TrainingPlan sorts out the hrs and WeeklySchedule sorts out the workouts.
Does that make sense?0 -
Yes, thanks, that helps a bit. But what if I want to change the distribution of the weekly hours on the days of the week?
For example, for Monday to Sunday for Base1 Week1 I always get: 0 (Mon), 1 (Tue), 1.5 (Wed), 1.5 (Thu), 0 (Fri), 3 (Sat) and 2 (Sun) hours. What if I want a different pattern, say 3 hours on Wednesday and 0 on Thursday?
I thought by choosing from the Workout selection dropdown, the distribution of hours would change. But whether I select "Base 1: OFF-E2-E2-E2-S1-E2-E2" or "Base 1: E1----S2--" I always get the same distribution (0, 1, 1.5, 1.5, 0, 3 and 2). This has some strange result, for example, in the first case, Friday with a S1 workout is set up with 0 hours. In the second case Tuesday is set up with 1 hour, but no workout (it is not OFF, just blank).
Is there something I have misunderstood? Do I have to fill in all the blue Planned fields manually?
Thanks again for your time.0
