Cheers, thats a fair trek for me, so it' have to be worth it. Can anyone who's been to both tall me if it is any better than Hamsterley as that is only 10 mins away from me.
  • Me and the lad went to Hamsterly one morning and halfway round the red route we were so bored we took a short cut back to the car park and finished the day in Dalby (again). Dalby is miles and miles of tracks like the skills area at Hamsterly. Well worth the trip I would say.

It takes me about an hour subject to 'sunday motorists' from Marton/Middlesbrough depending on if i nip into bikescene on the way, head from boro towards Whitby, turn right at the roundabout just before you ht whitby's outskirts, then go over fylingdales moor, and turn left at the fox and hare pub. entry to the forest is just down there.
