Did well today because as Ruth advised, I took a very easy week. It ended up looking like this:-
Race Sunday 50 miles (managed a pb so thinngs going well) after a very hard week.
Monday 2 hours tempo
Tuseday 1 hour easy
Wednesday 10 mile club tt.
Thursday 15 min club hill climb.
Friday nothing
Saturday nothing.
If you hadn't given me any advice, Ruth, then I probably would have ridden hard Sat or Friday, put a 100 miler in mid week and messed things up so thanks, much apprecited.
Steve had a very good ride as well. Well done Steve.
I think every budding cyclist should have a go at a 100, after all, whats the point of getting out of bed for a poxy ten miler or a whose the lightest hill climb.

Well done guys, but what about telling us something INTERESTING like what times you did?! I've already gleaned that Owen (?) was the winner. What were the conditions like?
Glad the suggestion of an easy week paid off, Chris. I think I'd have had an even easier one than that........... but then again no two people have exactly the same targets/priorities and your sights are more on the 12 as I understand.
So, did you feel really strong and well rested? What did that mean for you in the way you rode it?

Results are up on the CTT website. Chris well done 8th place! (4-12-03)
I managed to better my target of 5 hrs with a 4-37-47.
The conditions were TERRIBLE! massive headwind on the climbs back up to Abergavenny, and rain showers all over the place, even hail in some places. I had to keep stopping the clear the snow from my wheels... :shock:0 -
Results are up, and the mens champs are also updated. 100 results with some pics, hopefully more to come. Womens champs pending the 10 result.0

Hey... I know what you mean. It was my 1st '100' and I was really aprehensive about it (especially having not done and long distance training rides all season !!). However.... I absolutely loved it. Much more rewarding just getting through one of those that knocking a few seconds off a 10 PB eh?0
