    Hi Rich
Just a quick hello from sunny Tenerife and hope you are all keeping well. I see you are still riding the big hills like you were in Tenerife.
    Regards
    Alan (videoman)

    Yip Alan,

I'm still killing myself....although the weather is taking a major turn for the worse here...times a running out for biggies, wont bother you right enough...don't expect Tenerife to be cold yet...lucky bugga!
  • Hi Richy
The hills are still as big here and the temps are still in the late 20's in the afternoon. Looking forward to when they get to the low 20's and we see some rain as I cannot remember when it last rained.

Hmmmmm Asterton Bank is probably the most hideous of the ones encountered on Audax rides, but I have managed to ride up it one handed taking photos of people pushing their bikes [yes I was called a bastard a couple of times] but I did have a 22x28 gear so it was ok .
The worst hill I have ridden up, now unfortunately one way in the down hill direction, is The Old Wyche Road in Malvern , no way would I be able to ride up that one handed even on that low gear, it is evil, the last bit is reputed to be 1 in 1 as it joins the main road at the top on the right hand side. There is however a pub at the top :D ...........
I might try and get a road closure on it some time and do a hill climb event , they let me shut the High Street in town this year so the Old Wyche might be possible. There used to be a motor hill climb on it years ago for Morgan 3 wheelers , I bet that was hilarious .
