Hey Ed , what rotors are those on your Avalanche ? They dont look like the standard XT rotors they shape looks more like Maguras with the wavey like edge

No, its an old photo. There the standard Tektro rotors, and no longer on it. There quite beefy compared to the XT's.

Freehub has worn out, 7 miles from home. Had to walk, gutted. So I think some Mavic 719's on Pro 2's shall be ordered soon.

Thanks, im still deciding on what im going to do with it now that i have my trek. Whether to keep it or sell it, i absolutely love the frames of the marins this year, if i had the cash i would strip it completely and build it up to be a lightweight XC bike like cheeseys IFT only with the Hawkhill frame.

LOL! Well before I sent it down a track yesterday on its own I rode an S Works carbon. Unbelievably it was ok given the speed I was going!

Yea thats a nice Spesh you got their, i love the whole S Works range from specialized, especially the S Works Epic. Simply beautiful bike. Surprised i never see anyone over Reigate hill when i go ,its nearly always empty.

Yeh, Reigate Hill can be a bit baron sometimes. It's a good starting point for the Box Hill/Leith Hill/Penbury Hill run!

I havent worked out that route yet, i keep getting lost over Banstead/Walton Heath. My map reading skills arent as good as what they used to be.

wish i had the fortunes to collect all of the top-o-the-line bikes from top manufacturers... got an eye for nomad & vpfree, cannondale prophet, s-works enduro ('06 model), the new gt's, ift, fuel 9.5, trance, socom, 5.5 & 6.6, the new coilair...
