He is on his own unfortunately. Is he hoping for a 200km individual pursuit performance?

Lets just enjoy it while it lasts.

And I hope it last till the finish.

maybe everyone are saving their legs for the Alps, and Brad gets it today.

    I can dream cant' I?

    The new Jacky Durand!

Cofidis are having a great tour so far for the breaks.

Well his lead is up to almost 16 minutes now, I think that exceeds the maximum gap acheived yesterday. Not only that but he is only(!) having to ride at 31km/h which is quite slow so he probably isn't burning himself out too much at this point.

What are the rest of the peloton playing at? I'm sure they will be confident that they can catch him before the end but it does seem a bit risky to me.

I think the versus stream is just starting, but it's such poor quality on my computer - it justs keeps buffering. I don't actually know if that's low bandwidth at their end or my computer just being too slow.

I'm getting Versus here http://www.channelsurfing.net/ but it seems to be a pre-stage intro show. They're all discussing yesterday's stage. I don't even know whether this it's live or recorded.

Wiggins is just out for a nice tempo ride today, getting a bit of training and just spinning along in his small ring. The peloton is saving its energy for the mountains which come tomorrow, and in force on Sunday. With Wiggins not a serious threat for the overall classification, it will be up to the sprinters to decide whether they want to battle for a stage win or take a day off.

If that's the case he won't be cooked when the peleton starts chasing and has got a great chance today.

    C'mon Bradders!!

Bradley's lead now up to 18 minutes. Are they just going to let him win?

Just as well it's on Versus. Those tossers at Eurosport were supposed to start ten minutes ago but they're showing MotoGP

Well you're lucky. I was enjoying the fishing show on Versus, then they take it off and put some stupid bike race on instead.

    quote from radar live feed
Quick.Step and Lampre lead the bunch through the feed zone, with Vasseur grabbing a musette (feed bag) from a soigneur. He unloads it into his mouth and pockets

How exciting can it get :D . :D

Poor Bradley. Left out on his own to fly the Cofidis flag, you've got to ask why no one went with him and any that tried were chased down.

Brad's outspoken views may have cost him friends.

If his aim is to just get TV time, he's done a fine job.

If he wants it to amount to anything, it's an idiotic move. But then we get them every day.

I wish he would try wait til they're near the end and see if he could get off the front, a la Cancellera a couple of days ago. He is a lot more likely to have success doing that if he had luck on his side.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.
