Power Breathing

Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a Power Breath, which is billed as "The Turbocharger for your Lungs". Does anybody use one, and if so did you notice any real benefit and would recommend it. It looks expensive to me for what it is (approx £35)
Thanks

They are expensive but should imrove your lung function for testing purposes. Whether that makes any difference on the bike is debateable. IMHO they are pretty good for people with 'weak lungs' e.g. asthmatics but the research for people with already normal lung function is sketchy to say the least...0

It's fine at first, but after a while you'll get tired of cleaning up your own slobber! Yep, it get's real messy!
Honestly... go out and find some hills! It will be far more rewarding.
Bought one years ago it's in a draw somewhere...0 -
Thanks Doctor and Overmars
I think i'll postpone this particular purchase for now......( and probably buy some Go-Gels instead - I know they work0 -
People were talking about these on a running forum a while ago.
General opinion was that they were intended for asthmatics/people with breathing difficulty, but that a new marketing opportunity had been spotted of selling them to sportspeople.
In practice, no-one rated them.
After all, is it your lungs that give up first, or your legs ?0
