which is why i love and hate the written word.

love it for the images it can create in the imagination.
hate it for being not as eloquent as others. (maybe the wrong word for a writen forum).

If i misundestood you jibi then i apologise.

I noted another thread "who is nick louse" which seemed to be all about having a go at him, and felt some "anti nick" seniment. I thought this was running on similar lines.

Again, apologies if i misundestood. quote "you still havnt answered my question".. I obviously misundestood your directness as confrontational.

some one apologised in Soapbox

    now that's a first :D

    No problem here,

i have nothing to do with the site problems (as in fixing them)

yes i can be short. gruf or just plain grumpy.
i can also be very infomative. and have been known to go to lengths to help people out when the question is full. when the question is not complete for me to provide an answer i will ask a question.

If the answer is in the manual of on the product web page i wonder about the posters metal abillity.

    No you aren't.

I'm not sure technical knowledge can be conflated with moderating skills.

I would have said it was fairly obviously a metaphor, rather than an attempt to encourage erosion...

Yes, you have to be the most retarded people ever. Your 'Soapbox' is tame, you aren't clever, and you have then taken a metaphor completely the wrong way, maybe just to create an argument, which you proceeded to lose.

Which might well be how they want it? Not everyone sees a forum as a venue for a contest of offensiveness.
Besides, have you seen the sandbox recently?

Er, only one of them did that. Misunderstanding things happened daily on MBUK.

No, this is BikeRadar. It is made up in part of MBUK, but it is no longer the MBUK forum.

I'm not going to comment on this topic per post, but on a whole plaese stop being so pedantic and childish.

Its obivous that some of us are not going to get along, but so what? do you really do this in real life if you meet someone you don't like, or not sure of?

Ha, I knew I would get some abuse from that, I was hoping not from some MBUK people.
I wanted the C+ers to get really angry, it's fun.

I have a hobby thanks very much. It's just not a very healthy one. :)
And BTW, it's probably not the best of ideas to promote the fact that you are middle-aged (or older than about 25) and still sitting on a forum, pretending to be hard. It's kind of OK when you are younger, but you should probably be doing something else. As will I be when I am your age. So really, I'd shush about the whole 'playing with the big boys' thing.
Avi, I won't argue with you, cos you are impossible to argue against, but you are hypocrisy personified occasionally. And don't tell me that arguing with people about an OS is a hobby. It's not.
