Theoretically how legal would it be too...

"Feedback- Change the colour/ actually bring some colour into the forum and bring back the BB code."
BB code will almost certainly return, as soon as we add the facility to switch it off in sigs. And we have probably gone too clinical on the look, though I thought mountain bikers liked hospitals, the frequency we manage to land ourselves in casualty...
"Have you not seen all the constructive criticism?"
Yes, we have, and we're taking it on board and things WILL change. But that's not an overnight process.
"You can't blame the users for getting pissed off when this place is in Beta and doesnt work"
We can read posts, we can post messages. That we're having this conversation gives the lie to "doesn't work". It can be improved, no argument there, but your basic forum functions are here.
"Why couldn't you keep the old forums open while BikeRadar is in Beta?"
Because the process of migrating forum posts was sufficiently painful that it was best done once. Running two sets of forums side by side would have been a nightmare to merge. And I am willing to bet we'd have had to have these conversations twice.
Once is enough, I'm sure you agree!John Stevenson0 -
Thanks for answering our questions/ feedback. At least you answered with solutions to the problems rather than having the usual "well it is a beta"
Oh and I was just wondering, what is the difference between a mod and admin?Alcohol, the cause of and solution to all of lifes problems!0 -

Admins look after the forums, mods fight with rockers?
Admins can make set-up changes, mods can only deal with posts and users.John Stevenson0 -

Bring back the quick reply box, turn on BB code (sigs included), make it look decent, stop all the 'post does not exist' messages. Also stop whoever is going around deleting threads and posts, it is a forum, if you try to censor people no one will stay.0
