I only just got into cycling really a couple of years ago and the first tour i watched properly was lance's last. I too love lances look! although didn't see it at the time. Perhaps depressingly my most enduring image of cycling tha I've actually seen at the time is Landis crossing the line after his mammoth come back last year. Not just that moment but all that it now represents. I was so elated after he won that stage and thought it was so amazing...then everything that came after that was such a sharp reality shock for a naive wee lassie like me! It was a strange combo of disappointment, betrayal and embarassment for being taken. Thankfully, it hasn't dampened my enthusiasm for cycling - both doing and watching - and the eternal optimist in me is looking forward to being given a new enduring image that won't be so tainted!0

Just once I would like to be called "Sir", without someone adding "You\'re making a scene".0
