Hit by truck

Yes it's true the driver didn't see me wearing a bright red top,on a 4 lane carriage way. Nothing broke but my back and hip have took a hammering and by the time the physio lets me get back to the bike it will have been 5 weeks off. Normally do about 150+ miles a week with some hard intervals,a road race and a tt in there. The physio guy has said I will have to take it really easy. Any one had this amount of time off with an injury. How did you come back to training.
I've more or less wrote off my race season, but heh may be a carbon frame could be coming my way for next year from the insurance you never know.ftt

Ftt - sounds like your looking at the optimistic P.O.View. Use this time for a rest.

The optimistic view is the best one to take! Insurance upgrades rock. Carbon eh? Big ponce :)

Compo would be nice. But. I am still waiting for the cash to replace my wrecked bike after nearly FIVE MONTHS, never mind compo for the injuries I sustained.
This despite the driver admiting fault and being prosecuted by the Police for driving without due care and attention.
The legal eagles handling my case say the third parties insurance company are dragging there heels. Tell me about it.
