Maybe it has moved online, those readers wives have to have an outlet somewhere. I would check but my employer won't let me!

Thirty five years ago I had to have Stylo George Best football boots because 'They were the best'. I also had to have chelsea boots because anyother style was uncool.

Thankfully my own kids were not insistant on wearing the latest Nikes or equivalents and have gravitated towards stylish but moderately priced brands of footwear - having to pay for them themselves from their allowances made them more aware of the form/function argument.
