Hi all been training for the event but for the last 6 weeks have had a calf injury which has stopped me doing full training. Feels like a slight tear of the muscle. I did tear the same muscle about 2 years ago. Been doing light training and it feels ok riding the bike but dare not go to the gym or do any weight training encase it goes completly. Do you think i will be ok doing the ride even if it means the short route? How fit do you need to be to complete it. I have never been on a ride like the Maratona before.
