    More good shops (SE London)

Compton Cycles in Catford, down to earth, well established and do a lot ofMTB stuff as well.
    Edwardes in Camberwell

I generally do my own repairs etc but if time pressed I will use my local bike shop, Vaidas Bicycles - a small shop, friendly staff, mainly used by just locals though for bike repair.

    Hello Guys,
I'm reviving this thread - looking for a good bike workshop in London central/north/west - ?
Looking for good quality and competitive prices on stuff like rebuilding wheels - installing breaks etc...

    Thanks!

    EDIT:
this is for an MTB - by the way, don't know if this changes much...

You might give Fullcity a try:

It's in Leather lane, about 5 minutes walk from Condor, and compared to Condor's beautiful boutique, has all the spaciousness of a garden shed (with most of the clutter). But they are friendly and know their stuff - the local bike couriers go there.
