Morning

Damp and mild.

May pedal. Bit cream crackered after yesterday's Porker tinkering.

Post more stuff.

First: coffee...

Brekky, coffee, taxi to airport. It's damp and mild here too, but will be cold and snowy by this evening 🙂

Currently digesting a piggy breakfast In Southampton.

funnily enough I woke up 25 years ago to this very day in a bed on my own as It’s bad luck to see the bride on the big day. Unfortunately the grandson decide to pop out on the same date and steal our thunder but at least there will be cake later.

a day of building sites and motorways awaits, followed by a curry and beer if I make it to the safe havens of the north.

Only happens when I've had a beer or two. Luckily most of the skiing is above the tree line.

Does the bad luck thing include the bit when you see her at the altar?

  • Glasgow airport security - very friendly but not well organised, lots of bags put aside when scanned , waiting in the queue for them and every one was "you didn't take your ipad/toiletries out of your bag" .

Interesting as there was nothing to tell us to and no one was asking us to. It's going to be chaos when it's busy!

Morning all. Enjoy the holidays folks. Is it congrats or commiserations on 25yrs. Currently ducking and diving and fending of 💩 at work. Car hunting officially finished for young oxo, so no more garages to visit.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Wonder whether that's caused by the fact that at Edinburgh you now don't need to, although the queue there is slowed by the number of people unnecessarily removing their stuff.

  • Have Edinburgh changed to not getting stuff out then?

Aye but. Glesca is Glesca, ken.

A lunchtime meet up with the Gardens team of volunteers, trainees and staff. Nice to see them all again after such an unfortunate timeout, And sorted out my start back again in easy stages programme, means I can progress more towards my normal world while not pushing the limits too far. Will be a lot of seasonal glasshouse propagation work, it's that time of year and a lot needs doing for the walled garden and more. Happy. 😊

Yes, was down to my pants with my stuff in 3 different trays before I realised though. They're staffing it as if everyone knows, mind.

    Afternoon

Very misty here first thing. Fortunately it cleared by lunch time, so I went for first bike of the year. Unfortunately I then had to spend nigh on an equal amount of time cleaning my bike. It’s a bit catch 22 round here, go on the back roads and you and your bike will be covered in slurry. Ride on the main roads, you stay clean but your life expectancy is much reduced. But at least the sun was out.🌞
