TyreGlider damage
Seen the Tyreglider being advertised a lot on different social media outlets and thought i will give it a go as i recently went tubless and Pirelli tyres are difficult to get on and off my new carbon rims, First time using it and the tool scored the carbon rims, so i reached out the Tyreglider a few times and i finally received a reply so this morning informing me that some customers have had to apply tape and lubrication to their rims to stop them getting damaged, surely this information should be on their website and their socials,

You do know you are supposed to remove it once you fitted your tyre.😉

Never mind.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Didn’t cross my mind really. Slightly peed off but just a bit of cosmetic damage. Learned to manipulate the tyres as I go so less force required.
But you’re right, rims shouldn’t be in danger.

If you decide to contact them, I think they're called RimScratcher now.
