His timing looks a bit off if that's the case. Unless Labour have paid heed to the recent petition.

Why would he be doing it 4 and a half years away from the next GE?

When did he buy Twitter, in relation to the Presidential election? Give Musk his due, he doesn't do things at the last minute when he has a game plan. Putin likewise - these things are most effective when they've got plenty of time to be effective.

You're doing that thing where you pretend to be stupid again.

So he's got the lefties running scared, which is a good thing.

I see you're giving Musk some credit. Paging @focuszing723 to the thread.

Explain: why is interfering in a foreign election with $100m a good thing?

What part of winding up lefties don't you understand? Yes, it is that puerile.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

Barnier's gone, having lost the censure vote. French politics remaining very sticky, with le Pen and Mélenchon rocking the boat on port and starboard.

What's the French word for lettuce?
Will be interesting interesting to see whether this eventually precipitates another single currency crisis.

I'm sure you're fully well aware that the situation described is a feature of US healthcare not privatised healthcare per se. Huge swathes of the rest of the world (e.g. much of western Europe, Australia, Canada etc.) make heavy use of "privatised" healthcare and also achieve universal coverage via appropriate legislation and active regulation.
Save the hyperbolic rhetoric for the campaign trail!

Is that saying that Barnier has lasted as long as two of the Truss lettuce?

Well, it's my attempt... might try it on my French FB Page to see if they get it.

Damned by faint praise either way. Outlasting even two lettuces is no great achievement in a political office where you don't even need to get elected!

The death of the insurance CEO seems to be the most popular murder since Bin Laden.
