    Morning.

Good sleep except woke up with hypoglycaemia of 2.4 so feel absolutely shite! Sweet cuppa tea and some glucose tabs and extra bed for me this morning. Not complaining as its drizzly outside.

    Coffee and insulin laters.

    Morning

Sounds wet outside but as yet I can’t see if it is. I’m supposed to going out on the local group ride and need to set off at 8:00, which could be a big no,no if it’s still raining and dark.

Morning this fine dull soggy Sunday morning. Still bunged up but ready to share with the world, seeing as they gave it me. Taking youngest Grandsons on Santa special later. High note of the day is got my place for Dirty Reiver and a camping spot. Got a call off both my lads last night on a night out with mates most parents dread. One off the party had been stopped from entering a club by staff and had attacked them, eldest dragged him away and got smacked for his trouble by said person. Police and hospital involved for the lad causing the problem. Eldest has a bruise or 2 and some bite marks. Luckily police had seen eldest trying to diffuse situation and thanked him rather than lock him up. Glad I'm not young again. P69 home you sort your hypo sorted quick.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.
  • Wet and gloomy, supposedly brighter later. Chauffeuring OH to boozy girls Xmas lunch, probably pop in to see daughter no2 and end up with some DIY no doubt.

I just about to set off when I got a message to say the ride was cancelled. So went back to bed and listened to the rain bouncing off the windows.

A group pf us (all ex-college mates) had a mutual friend who when he got a few drinks in him could get aggressive. We had to pull him out of a few scuffles and after one incident had a go at us because we didn't back him up quicker. We eventually told him that the next time he either: doesn't come out with us, doesn't drink or if he does drink and gets in trouble, he's on his own.

Ex private school boy. Very wealthy guy who owned his own business bespoke kitchens and fitting - in the silly upmarket price bracket. Took to marijuana of an evening out, no drink and was fine. Married Henni this stunning Hungarian woman. Had two kids with her and she disappeared when the boys were 4 and 6. So he's single dad now. It's funny where people end up.

    I'm rambling.

Anyhoo, sh*t night's sleep. Caught Shorty at 2am logged on to the net on her lap top. She's learnt to bypass the parent link blocker. plus Mrs P's thermostat is wonky and Beans woke me at 5am all soggy wanting early breakfast.

    Laters

PS I love that painting SG

Soggy soggy here so have been dong a spot on Sunday morning dossing with the hounds. Need to get a bit of admin sorted after lunch including making a start on the dreaded tax return. Also as we were told by HR that we need to use up our annual holiday allowance I've booked a few extra days off including making the Xmas break a full fortnight. Booked a Black Friday deal on the virtual racing thing for this coming week as well for good measure.

    Afternoon folks,

Rather moist out, managed a small wobble with some of the old bike crowd. We bailed and went for coffee and cake when the rain got heavier. EPO and daughter female child are doing Christmas decorations so I need to hide somewhere. Need to get everything sorted for an early start tomorrow.

    Onwards and upwards...

Housey jobs, woodburner in the kitchen is now opperational.

Might attempt to tidy the garage later if I can muster the enthusiasm.

Ride? WTF is one of those?

    Advocate of disc brakes.
