Bar delays, you should be 20 mins in. You can give us a drip by drip progress report.

Same here without the frost....

Morning
A bit dull here but it’s not raining yet. Waiting for the fire and chimney man to turn up and finally fit the new wood burner. Todays ride is probably going to be indoors but one never knows, also have a drain cap to fit if it arrives and is the right size.

Wet here too, just steady light rain most of the day. Finished removing the flimsy trim and assorted other rubbish ready for joinery to be built (by Others..)
Virtual ride in the shed, then snuck in a walk after the rain eased up.

You'd have thunk it wouldn't you? Delay in Aseptic labs mixing my cocktail so just started dripping now. 2 hours plus a flush. Not having the Panitumimab today so that's an hour and half off the total minus two hour delay.
Ho hum. Wife beat me at Chess too. Not a happy bunny!

My 12 hours on and 12 hours off was never 12 hours. Even though I was taught to flush my Hickman line, I couldn't disconnect as it had to be a Cytotoxic nurse. So there was a delay in her/him getting to me in the first instance and coming back to disconnect plus bubbles in the driver pump would trigger the alarm and much faffing to clear them. I learnt to clear the bubbles but the alarm could go off at any time through the night and you were in the lap of the gods regarding actual sleep.
If you are on Chess.com, i'll play you at chess.

Beware Pinno's chess offer, apparently he's good. If you want a chance of winning you can play me 😀

Busy day so far, the meetings just keep coming. Just scoffed some fish fingers for lunch and on to round 2. Ding ding...

Did you have them in a Bap with ketchup?
seanoconn - gruagach craic!1 -
Ketchup is compulsory, but sadly I have no baps. Fnarr fnarr.

I prefer my fingers of fish firmly squashed between two large breasts and a good splatter of mayo. Fnar fear....

my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Afternoon folks,
Penultimate day in this orifice, managed to wobble in at least. It was rather moist out but I'm glad I persevered as the traffic was absolutely dreadful. Some numpty in a Mercedes A Class was blocking most of a lane on Kingston bridge as his front suspension was very broken, I suspect they had somehow hit the very large concrete divider between motor traffic and the bike lane. That's the last wobble in as I'll have to drive tomorrow to carry all my shite home. The ride in was one of the better things about this place.
Hope the chemo goes ok PN69, I never had a Hickman line but only just. They managed to turn most of my veins into twigs so really struggled to get the needles in by the end of it. Now my body has rerouted things so I still can't have blood taken from the inside of my elbows, doesn't stop them trying though 🙄 Used to have three different bags and it would take all day so I'd usually be first in and last out of the chemo room.
I'm surprised you have to ask. Good of Stevo to offer himself up for sacrifice at the altar of chess.

WFH today, roughly translated to “sort out home network “.
i suspect, or rather know that we’d overcomplicated everything and the server at the minute was just driving a label printer.
new wireless Dymo, all systems reset and if I weigh the old cables in I think I could afford a new Pinarello.
daughter is 35 today so curry out tonight! Wife not happy as she now sounds old.

Home now. A couple of hot buttered crumpets, big mug of tea. Episode of Minder on the TV. Perfic. Getting ready for a snooze wearing gloves. Don't ask. It's not what you think.

We now have a working wood burner but given the size of it, I think we might the doors open when it’s lit. Drain cap came but wouldn’t fit, so I bought some of that expanding foam in a can and used that to block of the rogue pipe in the inspection chamber.

I know what a one armed bandit is, I'd have thought it predates the 80s given that it is a mechanical contraption and the arm is pulled to set the wheels in motion. I was surprised he had to ask if you're a bandit, I'm sure the rest of us had our suspicions

Mayo or even better some homemade tartar sauce, chopped or thinly sliced dill pickle, in some lightly toasted, good quality bread.
