Monday - the grey, the bad and the dreary

Wotcha!

Not even any wind to blow this dullness away.

Initial observations: White cows in the top field. Apart from that, it's same as.

Dispatch DW's. chores then more coffee.

Dull here too. Currently coffee but I get the feeling Mrs W is building up the list of things I need to do.

    Morning folks,

Had a good ride yesterday so well rested. Working in the cave today and the Kingdom of Far Far Away has a Bank Holiday so less irritation will be involved than usual. Mrs. 666 is taking our house guests to the bright lights of London later on so I'll be hound sitting. Peace 'n' quiet beckons 🙂

    Moroning chaps.

Dull and gloomy here. Not a whisper of a breeze.

Brisk walk to hospital for bloods and to see Onc. Consultant.

Brisk walk back. Coffee, snooze. More boat bothering if my parcel of the right gauge thread shows up. Quite getting into model making again. Very therapeutic.

Morning all. Definitely grey and gloomy and no rain here. Same old same old. One of the team has handed his notice in, someone suggested a collection for him. The reply was he should be paying us for being so useless. We're all hoping his replacement is a lot better. Bike ready to get back comutting again so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Not a bad day, moderately sunny and mild. Car into mechanic to have rear air springs replaced. Took a bike with me and went riding for a couple hours while it was done, coffee stop on the way. Been a while since I’ve done proper road miles, was a nice change.

WFH today after a heavy day in the pubs yesterday. May summon the energy to get in the gym for a bit but my knee is pretty tight today, probably not running though.

    Afternoon folks,

Another day of orifice based fun, or 'moroning' as PN69 said. I suspect the afternoon will be more of the same. Pleasant enough wobble in for the time of year, grey, but not too cold and no wet stuff falling out of the sky. Adjusted the front mech very quickly yesterday, should give it another tweak. Obviously there will be no running.

    Afternoon

Long morning at the Hosp. but it was not moroning at all. Long chat with Onc. and Specialist Nurse and they gave me a whole bunch of creams for my rashes etc. New drugs too. Lots of info too. Apparently I'm on a very specific targeted chemo drug that only few people get as I will work on my genetic makeup. Cool, eh?

Long walk back should have taken a snack. Didn't think I'd be there for nearly 4 hours! Famished now.

They have drugs that work specifically on West Country folk? Cool 😛

Actually was going to ask - are you banned from cycling while the treatment is on?

    Yeah, it's a new Wurzle-based drug known as Jethro-therapy!

They haven't said I can't but I really haven't felt much like it. Having said that I could get back from the hospital in 10 minutes rather than 30. Will get the bike on the turbo soon just to turn the legs.

Saw him live in Cheltenham, Posh Cheltenham and it was packed out with grey headed poshies.
