Morning Wasters and Coffee Tasters,
I'm on domestic servant duty as Mrs. 666 has sprained her ankle. Apparently our mighty 12kg Cockerpoo pulled her over when she was walking him yesterday...don't mind a bit of fetching but can do without the moaning.
At least we've finished number torturing season for another quarter, back to making certain numbers smaller for next time.

That's just your feet. What's the weather like?

I hope you're wearing that chauffeur's cap.

God help her if Stevo has to do the cooking.

Morning
Finally managed to log in. Now in new house, no internet, no phone signal and no furniture till next week. Managed to get a new mattress to sleep and a neighbour has lent us a picnic table an and chairs. Luckily the new washer and dryer turned up on time. It’s also pissing down.

Legs felt like tree trunks on yesterdays run so I ditched the gym in favour of a dog walk this morning.
Kids about tonight, curry for dinner.

No cap, but I've got my goggles and dungarees.

Morning Just. Chilling at work for a change. Just a bit moist here. Beer night with mates later and off work tomorrow, might get messy.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.0 -
She can still hop around the kitchen.

Afternoon folks,
Another day of orifice based drudgery, wobble in wasn't too bad at least. It did try to rain on me briefly, thankfully the worst of it held off until I got here. It's been raining or sunny all day, got rained on walking to Sainsbury's and then overheated in the sun walking back. Going to see a man about a dog either Friday morning or early next week. Work will believe I'm taking my mother to the hospital. I think I've become institutionalised and the idea of moving makes me nervous even though I know this place has been going to hell in a handcart for years. Or is it Stockholm syndrome?
Stevo, you say she can hop around the kitchen, the question is, will she?

She is hopping around. Otherwise might be a problem come toilet time...

Afternoon shysters. Hope all are doing the bare minimum and fecking off early on this dreary day.
Well Chemo was a thrill. Got there for 8.30 and seen fairly promptly. Finished at 4pm! Various pills and premeds followed by flushes then gallons of drugs followed by flushes followed by gallons of drugs followed by.... you get it. Now been sent home with a pump of drugs for two days. Its like a small bidon with a tube into arm. Just trying to work out WTF I'm going to put it in bed when I sleep? I roll a lot. Wifey has some bumbag thing for running that holds a bidon so going to try that strapped to my belly.
So far side effects minimal which is good. Increased my usual pharma drug hall by 14 different new drugs to take. I'm gonna need a bigger box!!!
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

And reminders of what to take when. I used to leave with a sack full of drugs after every round of chemo.
Glad side effects aren't too bad. I'm sure everyone is different and you're on a different regime to that I was on, but i found they got worse with each bout of chemo. Make sure you rest when you feel the need.

This ^. Do not accept Maxolon/Metoclopramide as an anti-emetic. Ondansetron is far superior.

How long does this treatment course last PN? Sounds heavy as expected
At least you have a couple of people on the forum who have been there and done that.

Thanks Stevo. 3 months initially with 2 week cycles plus this bidon pump for 3 days after treatment. Nice innit?
Yes it's great and reassuring to hear from others who have been through similar. Thanks guys, it really means a lot!
Size of bottle. Banana for scale safely hidden.
In wife's Karrimor jogging belt. Very handy.

I won't ask exactly what you do with the pump PN, probably don't want to know...
Also this is anecdotal evidence, but everyone I know who has had the 'Big C' has survived it, albeit with a bit less hair than beforehand.

Good news on the hair front is that I had less grey when it grew back, a bit more extreme than using Grecian 2000 but it did look more natural. Quite grey now though 🙄

Having hair at your age is a bonus, V 🙂
