Chilled start then off to a race with a stupid 13:00 start, wouldn’t be so bad if it was a 10k but it’s 50 miles and 10k ft of climbing - don’t these race organisers care about the local pubs profits 🤷‍♂️

    Wotcha!

Off for a Jolly to Kilmarnock. Actually, there's no such thing as a 'jolly to Kilmarnock. The only 'Jolly' to come out of KIlmarnock is the A77 and Beans.

It's looking a bit dull and damp out there already.

I worked for Johnnie Walker in Kilmarnock for 2 years. Cured my teenage post overdose aversion to whisky.

Slowish start here, walked the dogs in a bit, then off into town for a spot of lunch and procure food supplies etc. Fingers crossed for weather tomorrow as it's looking a bit iffy but probably OK for riding.

    Afternoon folks,

Traditional slow start was enjoyed, this was followed by mild pottering. Coffee interlude is approaching it's end, should go and do some more pottering outside as today is supposed to be the better day weather wise.

I'd wish TLW luck but the daft sod should be setting off now and not looking at his phone

We have lots of noisy geese but this is 'south' for them.

Evening folks. Day out with the OH and mutt for a change. Blue sky and golden orb most of the day for once. Mr T is certifiable. Good luck. Pity about the pub bit, suspect you won't be capable of holding a pint after that. I'm guessing around 8hrs or so.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.
