Dog walked, children dispatched to an educational facility, breakfast at the kitchen island and in work for 8.50am including a small forage for office fridge supplies.

All in all a good start which was promtly ruined by the fact I remembered we're doing run sprints tonight.

Eyes checked, pressures good, retinal scan fine, peripheral vision fine. At least that part of my body hasn't failed too badly so far.

Brisk walk home. Missed rain. Espresso machine warming up.

That's good. I guess you would have struggled to take decent photographs with glaucoma.

Another delectable day of orifice based dithering after a cold and wet wobble in. Found out some bits I'm not supposed to know, should be an improvement in time, although inevitably it will add to the workload in the short term. Out for beer and curry with the MD and FD later.

A good friend lost his mother recently, his brother is a good for nothing scrounger that was taking money off their mother. The house is worth a fair bit so he suggested getting a solicitor to deal with the probate and will etc. That way the solicitor will have to look at all the comings and goings and will see the money that had already been taken. My friend knows it will cost the estate money, but once it's all done there can be no argument from his brother. I suspect that would be the best way for the current wife TLW, I'm sure the SIL and BIL will argue against it but I'm sure it will be much better for the sanity of your household.

When is it lawyer and when is it a solicitor?

Managed a nice dry and not cold ride after work earlier, glad the weather forecast was completely inaccurate. Mind you, the timing is getting a bit trickier now that the nights are closing in.

for many years the wife’s uncles gave the MIL an allowance, I’ve worked out circa £120k, so we are going to tell the SIL we should pay them back out of the estate - they will be very peed off 😂
