Dull innit. But not raining. Showers today and deluge tomorrow. Wonder if i'll squeeze in a pedal between showers. Still reminiscing Sundays ride. I think the number of really good days like that this year left is in the low single figures. Sorry to tell you that folks.

I'm still pretty optimistic over here in the arid South East corner of the country. They just need to happen on weekends...

    Morning folks,

Working down in the cave today, might snatch a quick ride after work as looks nice out and there just enough light still to do it. Mrs. 666 is sorting out the tree 'surgeon' aka hippy with a chainsaw who's coming round this afternoon to look at cutting back a few and pulling up a few more stumps. Otherwise it's tax mitigation all the way...

True, although Pinno can solve most of his problems by buying a wetsuit. It's cheaper than moving South.

  • To be fair D&G is significantly wetter (about twice annual rainfall) than the Borders , so thicker wetsuit needed.

Still here, after yesterday's even more f^^king windy than usual day. At least it was almost calm today, if cloudy and cool again.

Cleaned up a bit outdoors, a lot of sweeping up to catch up on, then fired up the petrol powered brush cutter to resume hostilities with the rampant greenery (weeds).

Dinner out, first time in several months.

    Afternoon

Another slow and late start. I blame Mrs W retiring for it. Strolled in to town to pick up a few things, managed to pick up a Rapha top and bib shorts with 30% off before strolling back to not our home. Did some rehab weights for the first time in a while need to get back on the case with these.

Not sure what later on holds probably just lazing about.

  • Been in the gym this morning and steadiliy working for the rest of the day. Kids at ours tonight so I may have slightly less hair tomorrow as they can be testy little ****ers.

The dog has started eating its own poo, yet another reson why I wince when people let their dogs lick them.

The cats are just being cats and I suspect secretly plotting to oust the newbie from here position on the couch.

May wash the bike from Sunday as it's looking deflated and lonely in the garage.

    Evening folks,

Rather gloomy out today, but I didn't get wet. Another busy day in the orifice with the usual nonsense having unusual nonsense added to it.

I think this bit is probably the hardest, trying to look after the current wife and help her deal with all the admin type stuff that has to be done when the will to do so is severely lacking whilst protecting her from things is nigh on impossible. Having to deal with the more difficult members of the family through it all is just the icing on the cake. Good luck with it all.
