Think so, I saw it listed when I went on the menu to watch the Vuelta

Did I really see the Tour of Britain on Discovery yesterday. As this morning yesterdays stage is not there or nor any future stages in the schedule.

It may depend where you are. I know last year coverage wasn't available on D+ in the UK
I believe ITV4 have exclusive rights in the UK

According to various online sources, Discovery+ will be showing a couple of hours of each stage. I'll check later. The ads on ITV4 make it unwatchable for me. Is all their cycling coverage like this?
Incidentally, I just noticed that Pablo Castrillo's elder brother, Jaime, is riding.

I watched part of it in the UK yesterday with Brian Smith and someone else who I didn’t recognise commentating. However when I went to watch it on catch up there was no trace.

I see they have canned the You Tube coverage now, so ITV or D+ only.

It’s not showing on UK discovery as far I can see.

No escape from being sold a cremation then.

Not sure why you’d pull Ben Swift back for a dropped Pidcock…

Oh happy days. I have just turned up at my local bar to find that the ToB is being shown without adverts on Thai TV.

Good stage finish there. Great racing.

Just watched the stage (outside the uk atm) on Youtube. No audio though (unlike yesterday when it was DM and sm1 else)
Also wtf are IG playing at?

Never mind that: wtf is Millar wearing? Looks like he's stolen a smock from the local village idiot.

It's nice for Remco to let all these others come on his training ride.

I couldn't be arsed.
Was roadside yesterday and today.
Great fun on Saltburn Bank.

I think it’s fair to say that makes the race qualify for this thread. Looks like it was done by the same person who produced the Omi and Opi placard.

I've bumped the pre-race thread. We can use that for comments on the race.

Extremely impressive from Magnier today. Lead outs were really battling and it was a lot less straightforward than could have been expected. Remco seemed to get swamped before a corner, but Alaphilippe did very well to keep Magnier is decent position and then brought him close enough to the front with a short, but prima Alaphilippe punch. Magnier did the rest in very impressive fashion.

Rarely have I been so thrilled at the result of a bicycle race as I am now at the result of stage 5 of the 2024 Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l'Ardèche. Way to go Fariba!

The first UCI victory for an Afghan.

British junior, Cat Ferguson, takes second in her first outing as a pro for Movistar at the La Choralis Fourmies Femmes. She's riding as a stagiare for them for the rest of the season, before turning pro full time next season.

There have already been a couple of lesser Italian one dayers this week, won by Hirschi and Champoussin.
Today is kind of the official start of the Autumn Italian classic season, with the Coppi Sabatini.
Live D+ Coverage has already started.

Quebec: the first of the Canadian crits is underway. 200kms of riding around in circles may be great for tv coverage, but who wants to watch more than the final couple of laps?
At least it’s got the return of Pogacar and fabulous weather.
There’s the usual group mix of no hopers and local boys away in a breakaway that took all of half a km to sort. Sadly, the no hopers include an Ineos rider. (Artem Schmidt) Who? I hear you ask…

Shmidt is the third rider picked up by Ineos from the Hot Tubes Development team after Magnus Sheffield and AJ August. I'm unconvinced that they had much competition for his signature. Maybe they have discovered a goldmine of talent that all the other WT teams have missed. Or, maybe they haven't.

Judging from his results this year, I would think probably the latter.
