Morning all. WFW. Did something highly stupid and left the car and bike at home and ran in for a change. School boy error, should have replaced the wet wipes. Never mind I can't smell the sweat 🤭 Have a nice day folks.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.0 -
Renting a couple of Vespas today and have planned a ride backwards via Madonna del Ghisallo.
Ciao.

Our winter of woeful, windy weather continues. Howling gale today. The forecast rain with it has yet to materialise, but there's still time.
No matter really, I've been on daily Taxi duty for ages, with a lot of wasted hours sitting around waiting. That all comes to an end soon, and life can get back to something vaguely resembling normal, we hope.
Carry on.

Wotcha!
Blowing a hoolie and pi$$ing from the heavens.
Yesterday was productive which is just as well. First half decent day is now reserved for outdoor pedalling. What a sh^t summer.
New router arrives today. Yippee! Tethering to my mobile is not the most secure even though I am in Oslo.

Good way of making sure nobody sits at the desk next to you, Oxo 😊

Morning Peeps, up before sunrise to drive and pedal into town. Nice and warm on the way in and roads relatively quiet.
Mrs. 666 bought a palm tree yesterday after seeing it at half price down the garden centre, and then chipped a bit more off. Looks like Casa Stevo is going Mediterranean. Next up: how to plant the ****ing thing, as its a decent size already.
Onwards to coffee, Scotch eggs and tax mitigation.

Just one of next doors trees, eaters, ours aren't quite ready yet. Next door is empty just now so we can scrump them.

Morning
Bathroom cleaned and garden watered for Mrs W. Also picked a bucket full of plums, which is a bit odd as there wasn’t any on the tree last year. Ordered a new impact driver as current one is getting a bit worse for wear. How come these days you buy a battery and charger and get the tool free. Later will be rehab weights and watching some cycling.

Was it a refurb job? What brand?

No a newbie Ryobi. My current one is one of these and we’ve got a hedge trimmer as well. I did have 2 batteries but one gave up the ghost.

Afternoon folks,
Another delightful day of orifice based fun, as usual the joy of a bank holiday gets a little offset by coming back to work and having more grief than normal to deal with.
A mate came in for some bits for an old Metro and a Manx Norton, neither of which we sell parts for really. got them all sorted of course. The last time he came in with an odd enquiry was for a Peel P50, that was completely ridiculous. The guy had paid way too much for it, then spent another fortune trying to get it running, unfortunately a modern Ferrari specialist doesn't know diddly squat about old motorbike engines so my mate had to put it all right after they'd messed it up and lost a load of parts in the process.
Glad you've still got the opportunity to ferry the current wife to the hospital TLW, hope she's doing ok.
