Meh, big night on the back of a week of big nights means I can’t be arsed to meet a mate for a bike ride when I know he wants to rip my legs off type speed.

need to be back by lunch as need to visit MIL who hopefully is better than yesterday then into town as a folk festival is on and lots of live music in the pubs and I’ve agreed for a drunken day out

Morning all. Sun currently out and sky's blue, but not for long as it's a bank holiday and in true brit fashion rain is due. Visiting local retail park to keep OH happy then hopefully a few hrs on the gravel bike.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Lie in done, been down to the garden centre for supplies for Mrs. 666's garden project. Ride this afternoon, make the most of what's left of summer. Time to grab a cup of coffee.

Morning folks, but not for long.

Traditional slow start was enjoyed, now have a little pottering to do before heading out.

Party at the pub down the road as the landlord is celebrating 30 years there. The good news is I can crawl home if necessary. Weather looks reasonable, if a little cooler and windier than I would like. Not quite Hawaiian shirt temperature, but I think the occasion warrants one

No way Jose for Hawaiian shirts in these pairts, full on shite weather. Again. Forecasting to rain and blow all day. Again. 🫤

Trainer sesh I guess, then watch some sunny biking on t'telly.

    Life eh.

i watched some via sbs (australia), create a free account, a few ads but not too bad, they live stream the stages and also do highlights

you need to use a vpn to relocate down under before accessing sbs - nordvpn is good, used it for umpteen years

    Afternoon

A slow start was had here due to being out late at some friends across the village last night. Rehab weights done now watching the blue sky and disappear as it gets windier and windier and wondering are we heading for another candle lit night.

Half way through a ten mile walk, just had sea bass, now limoncello and an espresso to finish.

not really looking forward to the last bit of uphill.

Sea bass? At a freshwater lake? Hmmm 🤔

Ride (indoor, natch) rided, time for 100% pure Colombian and watch what unfolds on this well lumpy Vuelta stage.
