It's wetter than a nun's cucumber here. Will venture into town later to procure some supplies and a new iron for Mrs. 666 - apparently she couldn't do the ironing the other day but we all know a bad workman always blames his tools. Coffee while chilling with hounds for now...

Racquet Welch must be a bit old even for you. How about a pic of Hailey Welch, the 'Hawk Tuah' girl instead?

Morning
We are now back being able to communicate with the rest of the world. Power was off yesterday for 7:30 in the morning till 8 at night. So a day of cold showers and no hot drinks, fortunately Mrs W must have had a permonition as she had booked a table at a restaurant in town where they still had power. Returned home and sat and had a drink only for the power to go again. No doubt they will blame the storm but it was also off for 5 hours the previous Friday and for 2 hours on Monday.
I might go for a ride if it stops raining.

Morning all. Summer is over I think and sungod is failing us. Almost a sub tropical parkrun this morning. Ride to it was sketchy as road is greasy in places. Grand kids over shortly to shatter the peace. I think Mr Webboo needs a generator and solar power, unless he enjoys off grid living. Some people are showing their age on here, Raquel Welch indeed. Is she even alive.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.0 -
Still great to look at though:

Moaning
Well its not pineapple weather here that’s for sure, peeing it down and no sign of it stopping according to the met office. Typical bank holiday you might say. Only the forecast says it should be 18C but its barley 13C Brrrrr
I might just put some waterproofs on and go for a trundle on the trial bike, what can possibly go wrong lol at least the beach will be empty
First prepare the slow cooker and have another coffee me thinks...

Afternoon folks,
Decidedly damp out there, so probably best to do indoor type stuff. Just been to dump a load of stuff at the charity shop and pick up supplies. Might venture as far as the garage and give bikes a bit of love and attention.

Finally arrived at the Italian pad. Flight landed late on Friday night and by the time we’d made it through the pointless E passport gates the car hire guys had gone home.
Had to overnight in the Sheraton, €250 for five hours sleep.
Car hire booking had then expired so had to sort another.
Spot of fish ravioli on the lake and now a G&T at home.

Rode to a nice local cafe for lunch, a bit breezy but dry - heavy shower whilst we were in the cafe though - excellent timing!

The forecast showers stayed away (yay) so despite The Wind cracked on with hedge fettling. Getting there, needs one more sesh to finish. Car loaded, tip slot booked for 1/2 hour's time, getting 100% pure Colombianed as feeling knacked. Then will be cold beer(s) and La Vuelta catch up.

Managed to get out for a ride that started cool and damp but ended up warm and windy. I thought my of 65 plus was a reasonable effort but met chap who was pedalling to Melton Mowbray, apparently he’d come from Brampton and when he got to MM he was pedalling back to Brampton. You’d have thought he’d just get some pies delivered.
