Headed into the Big Smoke on the train. Hopefully will be reasonably peaceful in the office today, lots of people on holiday around the group. Legs still feeling the effects of yesterdays efforts despite the isotonic apple based recovery drinks I had last night.

Meh back to work whilst the family fly off to Portugal for a week

Cloudy and dull with rain forecasted between the rain showers. Just as well I'm going to Portugal for a week.
Paid the extra to watch the cycling on Discovery after having been given the code from ES when they folded the coverage. Feel duped. It's not much but it's the principle of the thing.
Need to get some base layers at Sports Pursuit...
First; coffee

very warm humid start, suspect it will not rain, enjoying first café solo of the morning
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Morning all. Slow start as off with the OH for a change. Off around the peak district shortly. Weather looking good, although I'm paying for yesterday's sun at the car show I went to down south. Embrace the day and enjoy life whilst you can, things can change in an instant.

Shoulder feeling a bit sore after yesterdays rehab. Done a few chores so I. might go for a ride in a bit although it looks a bit windy out there.

'Kin pants weather. Again. Less like August, more like November.
Indoor trainer sesh, now watch some sunshine on t'telly even if Wittermouth is in flow. To be fair, with a placid race and 80 km or so to go, he's not yet gone full yatter and is less irritating than normal. Guess he will ramp up / roundabout up nearer the end...

Took the pup out, just dodged the downpour. Some summer this is turning out to be.

It alright in the subtropical South East - warm and dry at the mo. Our lawn has turned yellow and that's not just because of the dog piss.

Any puddle more than 2" deep could be life threatening.
