My point was that it was exceptionally hot in Lisbon, yesterday. For instance it’s 10C cooler today, but still 30C.

I get it’s hot but why run it in the middle of August then? Hardly like the riders want to ride in 40 degrees.

I don’t think they get much say when it is run do they? It has to fit into the calendar and is very much the third GT. swapping with the Giro feels an obvious solution but wouldn’t be great for the Giro. They could maybe go back to having both in spring and more or less back to back.
