Offices, so staying over to ensure a later start tomorrow to maximise sleep, also means I won’t be walking the hounds so more rested.

Frankly, I think your hounds will be grateful for a break…

Well that was a sound sleep, mayhap a 6+ hour drive is a good thing? Maybe not. Awake late for the work-in-the-Gardens day, and it's currently raining... What a 'kin summer we are 'enjoying'.
Get 100% pure Colombian shot #2 imbibed and get on with it / off t'interweb.

Windy wet. Meh.
Good day was had yesterday at Drumlanrig Castle. Made a new friend. He is 5. He decided I was the bees knees and bossed me about a bit. Though I did hand him back.

Slowish start, headed to Manchester later this morning but either way round the M25 looks equally tedious.

lethal wind high up, thought i'd get blown off the road over timanfaya, turnaround doughnut at la santa now, tailwind back
happy birthday shorty!
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Take the seat pin out and fill the pipework up with black volcanic sand. That will a) lower the c of g b) weigh you down a little and c) temper the downhill stretches as the bb will be a bit crunchy. I also advise filling your back pockets with Pineapples.

Happy birthday Shorty, hope you get some cake.
Afternoon folks,
Another day of orifice based fun. Pleasant enough wobble in, felt a bit cooler today. Had some cake as it's my bosses birthday too, better have another piece in Shorty's honour. Should be out with the old bike crowd tonight, followed by the imbibing of liquid refreshments.
Other than that, not much to report.
Have fun everyone.

Hip Hip Hurrah! Shorty!!!
Weird day. Found out an acquaintance of mine of the same aged died on Monday. No details yet. He was fit and healthy. Very sad and shocked. On the other hand, bumped into an acquaintance this morning I'd not seen for years but had heard he was in a very bad way with Bowl and Liver cancer and was almost sure he was dead. Apparently he's been in complete remission for 12 months which is excellent!
Also had most excellent double espresso from a poncy coffee place (Colonna & Small's) . Ecuadorian beans. Every sip brought out a different flavour. Astonishing!
On location this morning. Office this afternoon. Motivation lost somewhere between the two.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Not surprising really. Always a bit of a shock to discover these things.

Happy b-day S-horty.
Did get act together finally this AM to get over for a belated start in The Gardens. Drizzly start, windy finish. Suppose can't blame Wiggle any more for this luvverly summery weather. Catch up on the track session(s), knock up a dish from mainly garden / greenhouse ingredients bar the egg, coldie or 2, and snooze. Plan.

Evening all
I’ve been out for a little pedal on the road bike today, cor there’s not enough windmills soaking up all that wind energy. I was well out of puff, like pedalling in treacle – but it wa a grand ride back tho. Don't know how SG does it, wind and volcanoes - cafes must be good (Una jarra para mi)
A few beers tonight relaxing in the bar watching them fly around the Velodrome
Happy birthday shorty, save a bit o cake for another day lol

It's a nice part of Manchester (Didsbury) and we didn't get into a fight, so yep 🙂

Well that's a bit dull. You can always pop over to Southport.

Nowhere to name as such, just SW outward bound (roughly) Block headwind on the way out. Me being on the east coast I have little option on my first direction of travel.
This day was a good 20-30MPH wind with gusts approaching 60MPH I’m glad I’m not in it any more
