Obviously. Not long now to the big one.
Low cloudy meh. Painting rental property today for my sins.
Coffee mmm. (yesterday's coffee at Le Gac was utterly dire). Receptionist made up for it with her curves and beautiful blue eyes,

shock report: after more than 15 years of a cafe solo being 1€ it's shot up to 1.10, will need to carry some of those pesky little coins now
stayed in 11/53 all the way back from yaiza, including the mini mur at janubio, enjoying the smoothness of the roads, and the warmth, definitely the warmth
currently stopped for brekkie in the sun
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
The big one? Have I missed something?

Race across Scotland - 215 miles think it will be my first dnf as I can’t run pain free now

I'm impressed with anyone who even thinks of doing it! We passed a lot of runners doing the Race to the Stones on the Ridgeway when we were cycling, some looked more than half dead, some really fit but hats off to them all!

DNF or DNS? Former I can give you a wave and a pack of ibuprofen... 😉
Anyway, wot sun? Day #5 in LurgieLand, slow recovery, did actually manage to get off my arris yesterday and do some minor fettling stuff, do a bit more today. Maybe.
I'm lovin' summer. As aside, was chatting with this young guy yesterday, he's just back from a hol in Turkey, 45C, was heading to 48 as he left and predicted 50+. Can we not average things out a bit weathergods?

Oh, I’m starting it - paid a lot of money for this much pain! Would be great to meet face to face

a nippy 22 at dawn, but it warmed up, the windsock seems to have blown away, i suspect they don't last long here

Had a quick blast on the bike after work yesterday so slept quite well apart from being woken by junior getting up early to go to her placement. Also Mrs. 666 decided she didn't like Prosecco any more and gave me a bottle - its not that bad and needs finishing...
Quite happy with the current 21-22C round these parts. Got workmen round replacing some old wooden window frames that are past their best and making sure it doesn't happen again.

Evening folks, busy day in the orifice with reasonable wobble there and back. Was out with the old bike club for a ride and a beer which was fun. Had a speed wobble going down the steep hill which wasn't fun. Stopped it with a knee against the top tube but really would be happier if I can stop it happening again.

Evening
First ride out with the boomers for 8 weeks and 85 miles completed finished off with a couple of pints of Neck oil in the Dog and Duck. Then out for an Italian with Mrs W, daughter dearest and Cameron grandson. Need to catch up on the cycling, might have to wait till tomorrow.

Loose headset or bent forks or one arm shorter than the other?

Just looked at this, hadn't realised it was the SUW, we live a couple of miles off the route, will keep an eye out for runners!

Just shout abuse at them, they won't have any energy to respond. Especially at that point in the race.

I will manage some abuse back don’t worry
