Busy morning, coming up for air and coffee...but not long to go before my week off. Warming up nicely here so sitting here wondering whether to work in the garden later once the Teams meetings are finished.

    Afternoon folks,

Another busy day in the orifice, very glad we have air con in here as it's proper SG weather out there. Glorious weather for the ride in this morning, same but warmer on the way home which makes for treacherous riding conditions. Lots of meeting going on today, guy from the new owners and senior management from the other company that was bought at the same time are here. Thankfully I've managed to avoid most of them but will be called in this afternoon. I thought shorts and a Hawaiian shirt would be suitable attire to illustrate I really would rather be elsewhere. It really is all a load of bollocks.

    Onwards and upwards...

Site meeting up in Keswick this morning so took the bike for a ride around Windermere on the way back. Eastern side is busy at times but the Western side is nice and peaceful.

Pretty shocking road surface in places but mostly nice.

Evening all. Currently busy busy at work on shutdown and way behind target. Boss can go swing as its fuxxup. To add to it had to lend my car to eldest whilst his is hopefully repaired, timing belt failed 😖. Looking at getting cheap family runaround to sit on drive till required. Absolutely scorcho here. Downside of this weather is it's killing me biking home. Oh well whinge over, may watch something other than Paris.

Ooh, timing belt fail, could be nasty. How many miles on clock?

130k well serviced wanted for nothing except he forgot to get the timing belt replaced. Expensive mistake for him. Perhaps he'll listen to his old man now.

Well didn't work in the garden as it was too hot, but managed a quick ride once it cooled down a bit and there was a route mostly in the shade.
