Usual early start for a jaunt into town. At least I didn't have to be quiet as junior was up early as well for her latest placement at an equine vets over in deepest darkest Surrey. Hounds looked slightly confused at all the action this early on.

Morning all. Nice dry ride into purgatory as big boss is off so I cop the crap this wk. Young oxo has finally handed his notice in for his old part time job and starts his new job. Luckily the company is taking him on knowing he's qualified but with minimal experience, so he's a happy bunny.

No experience no job, no job no experience.
Meh - soggy.
...and now is the summer of our discontent, not made glorious by sungod...
Nothing for it really. Mainly coffee.

Wet, back to Glasgow to finish off daughters floor, must remember to take a jigsaw....

I would save jigsaws for old age.

Chilled start with a bit of work and hot tub, now for a run with the dogs and if the kids are still asleep when I get back another one on my own. If they are up, of to some overpriced beach resort

Knackered after a decent ride saturday followed by the gym. Followed by a social ride with wifey on Sunday and some DIY and a pre work gym sesh today.
Supposed to be starting to paint my office today followed by fixing up an knackered old bike for a mate this evening.

Afternoon folks,
Busy, but fun weekend means I'm rather weary today. Pleasant enough wobble in, if a little gloomy. Seems to have brightened up now. I didn't take sunglasses in with me but have got a waterproof. This should ensure it doesn't rain and the sun comes out to play.
Usual orifice based fun and games, only got a 4 day week at least as it's the female child's graduation on Friday.

Day 3 in LurgieLand. This is getting a v low rating on TripAdvisor. I did do a C-word test which of course is negative, this is just a good ol' fashioned dose of the snots. Cough cough, sneeze, rinse, repeat. Fxxk, I'm bored.

He mentioned some diy - that’s not me

Afternoon.
Another slowish start to the day, did a bit of cleaning before going out a ride. Managed 66 miles now just waiting to fall asleep while watching the tour of Wallonia.

Fair point.

I was helping at this exhibition yesterday, some really lovely, and rare, bikes included. These are the old bike crowd I've been riding with recently.

Some gorgeous Colnago's in there and oh those ornate chromed lugs.

There were some stunning bikes in there, the video barely scratched the surface. Bikes from the 20s and 30s with wood rims and cork brake blocks, through some whacky gear change systems up to a couple of modern bikes.

66 miles is a pretty decent wobble after your op.

I knew about it this morning when attempting to rise from my bed. My thought of being in some sort of shape for our alpine holiday next week are fading by the minute.😂😂😂
