Cav’s gang aren’t going to make it, I fear.

The Cavendish group is toast, isn't it? Hardly a surprise Thijssen climbed off.

Would be a really disappointing way for his Tour career to end.

This is what happens when you lose Mørkøv

I dunno what the cutoff is going to look like, but Michael would have.

Surprised how much time the yellow jersey group has pulled back on the descent. Thought the break would have pulled a bit more out.

    It's all bloody hard

    Kelderman on auto pilot ...lol

Kelderman rides off the front and has to suffer the embarrassment of sitting up as no-one bothers chasing.

At least he gets the proper stuff. They looked at the Lidl musette earlier and they had the shitty Lidl rip off.

I’ll be disappointed if De Plus wins this. I could understand him being allowed to miss turns when there were 3 Bora and 2 Movistar in the break but he’s not pulling his weight. I suspect he’ll be the first dropped though.

Cav group likely to have around 15 minutes extra to climb the final hill versus the yellow jersey group.

He's in there with proper grand tour gc riders - he should do whatever he needs. Not beating them in an even fight, is he?

Going to be hard to stay away

Vingegaard has to attack, so it's impossible for them to stay away.

Hope we get a long range Vin attack on this final climb.

Jorgenson took a huge chunk from the break early and then the gap has stabilised
