Not surprised Jakobsen climbed off, but given how quickly he got stuck out the back I'm amazed he even climbed on.

A modest break of four established as Guillaume Martin gives up the chase.

Definitely looks like Bahrain have some illness in their camp as Bilbao goes out the back.

I do like a gorgeous gorges stage, incredible scenery, mad villages nestling in cliffsides, all of it

I am a little bit surprised, him being only a couple of minutes down on the peloton.

A beautiful area.... I've cycled over to Rocamadour several times - a nice ride. And the Gouffre de Padirac that they mentioned and showed is much more than a big hole in the ground. You can take a beautiful boat ride through the underground caverns.

A recurring theme of today seems to be the camera moto haunting the back of the peloton to watch stragglers climb off, isn't it? Bilbao and Jakobsen already gone. Now stalking Rickaert, Ackerman has been hanging off the back all day too.

Rickaert and Fedorov are well out of the back - over 7 minutes behind the peloton and going out quite quickly.

Are Alpecin trying to drop a few sprinters?

Otherwise, why are they driving so hard?

The breakaway will soon be history at this rate.

If they can distance Rickaert by half an hour, and Welten doesn't realise what's going on, they can stick the former top on LR.

    Getting a bit stressful

Crash right at the front, Lutsenko scrapes the kerb on an island and crashes across to the half of the bunch on the other side. Lotto rider looks worst of.

Roglic caught up and has the whole team trying to get him back. It's going to be tough with only 10km to go.

    Roglic caught out

Roglic down in that, all of Bora trying to bring him back

Gap to Roglic is over a minute with 9km to go, they're not going too hard at the front but that is likely to change as the sprinters teams start pushing. Gap already seems to be increasing. MVDP also off the back.

No visible injuries for Roglic but he’s struggling to hold the wheel.

Jumbo are the team picking the pace up, it feels hard for them to justify that as them going for the stage.

He seemed to have a bit of grazing on his left side but that is probably from yesterday. Whoever the Bora rider was that crashed would definitely have had some obvious marks on them.
