    Perhaps that’s a question that the race jury should be quizzed on.

    My guess is that they think he should have done something guaranteed to cause a mass pile up behind.

    His moving up through the bunch was a masterclass. I picked him up as he moved into shot and tracked him but even then it was a case of how the hell did he get there. He was plainly working through gaps, I haven’t got a clue how you can spot them like that and have the spatial awareness to get through them without easing off.
