Morning SG, fair weather cyclist today seeing as its slinging it down. Lovely weather for ducks. Another day of being busy, young OXO currently in throws of apprenticeship hunting. Hopefully his recent interviews come up with something. Doesn't want same train as me and his brother, sods law not a trade with skills shortage. Fingers crossed.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Mmm wet out there, walk hounds, then go for a swim at the club and then a few teams meetings and then see their physio. Hopefully get the green light to train again. Things all dependent on if I don’t go backwards into a hedge driving there 😂

Bugrit, damn weather. It chucked it down last night.

    Chores, stuff, rollers.

    More coffee needed.

  • Showery day again... collect new specs, buy a big wrench to remove expansion tank from system to replace the bladder inside it , might be an interesting job.....

Nothing achieved this morning other than a boat load of shouting at badly behaved kids.

Left my swimming stuff at home so no joy there, maybe a walk later, dunno.

Caught up on stage 4 this morning, what a ride over the Galibier!

    Morning

A bit damp here, it’s supposed to dry up later so I might get a walk in. Getting a bit bored of current regime but it’s only a week till I get my review with the consultant. I guess if I’m really bored I could do the full Carlton/ Rob H experience.

    Moaning.

Dull start. Dry so hauled myself in on the bike. Packed rain shell in case. Found next shower along was hotter which was nice.

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Cool and grey here, almost put the heating on in the cave but opted for an extra layer instead. Glut of sport at the moment which is quite good - footy, tennis and judging by the comments on here there's also a bike race going on in Garlicville. And the Olympics to look forward to later this month.

Well that was a lovely summery July day working with the team in The Gardens de-weeding and prettifying another of the neglected beds. Quite a few 'grand job you're doing there' comments from Jo and Joe P passing by. Waterproofs on all day, grey skies, repetitive drizzle, wet and muddy clothes and gloves. FFS, the nights are fair drawin' in...

Best have a look in catch up mode at how les bicyclette-ists de pro tour world are getting on.

There was a weird cat outside the door giving me some meowlong story about something or other, wasn't sure if it was to do with hedge sparrows or rooks or bicyclette-ists of origines divers. Who knows?
