Bit of a dull start but forecast is that it is to improve.
Beans bit Shorty on the bum. I think this was on account of her at the top of the garden with her mobile phone playing a racket and Beans didn't know who it was; full of trepidation and jolly walk was on hold (until further notice) until I picked him up so he could see Meerkat style who it was. Bloody funny.
Not a lot on today. Do I put new sparkly chain, cassette and freehub on shiniest bike*... that is the question. Nah, i'll squeeze a few more hundred miles out of it.
Get toots to school. Only 5 school taxi runs left. Ever.

Silage cutter back in the field next door, 2nd crop of season so far. Counted 7 red kites following around on the scavenge, they're on it.

Just finishing second coffee after putting shopping delivery away. The gentleman from Waitrose brought it all to kitchen for me, which was jolly nice of him. Might go for walk in a bit. Later is the football at the village hall theyโve just bought a massive screen. So itโs half price for the first drink, free for the ladies. Then half price every time England score so it wonโt be a cheap night.๐

Evening folks,
A pleasant morning of lounging was enjoyed, unfortunately the weather turned so we went out. Got dragged round an outlet centre for a while but then back to friend's bar for a couple of drinks and some scoff. This was followed by some very fine ice cream before returning to the holiday gaff for a drinky.
Forecast for tomorrow and onwards is scorchio, followed by more scorchio. Lad arrives with his girlfriend tomorrow as well.

You can take whatever alcohol you want in with you, only glass not allowed. Our shifts aren't too bad so will catch a few acts (headliners aren't up to much, but plenty of other stuff on.
