As long as they stay put and the tyre holds air no reason to bin the tyre no matter how many bacon strips you put in... but I have had way too much grief with bacon strips blowing out a couple of months down the line (which TBF could be as much a problem with my sealant as the strips).
Dynaplugs avoid the risk of blowing out because of the brass head, in which case as long as its holding air I wouldn't worry at all.
