I thought that would happen later into the Giro when Pog had a decent buffer so didn’t pick Alaphillipe for PTP today, dammit!

At the time the peloton was slowing, he nearly got someone with him and it wasn't certain the front would go full gas. He got a touch unlucky, but should have sat up ages ago
