I think you are right, it will hit their bottom line at some point. Lovely watches but lots of other options out there.
Interesting re Richemont pushing it, makes sense though.

It's not just Richemont; Swatch group, LVMH, Rolex and quite a few independents have been pushing through some pretty steep price hikes in the last 2-3 years. As ever, pays to shop around although the secondary market in quite a lot of high end stuff has softened after going nuts for the in demand stuff like Rolex steel sports models.

Yes, I had noticed that quite a few were at it, Omega and JLC seem to be a couple of the worst culprits. I can't see myself ever buying new again, will look at used watches in future. I think it will hit most of them, Rolex/PP aside at some point.
I like the Anordain watches but they seem to have doubled in price. Should have got hold of one a few years back when they were about £700-800.
