Great reaction from Georgi when she finds out she got third

Georgi seeing result was great

Top work from SD Worx to get Weibes close enough that Kopecky could sit in the last 10km

I thought Pfeiffer Georgi was either a Dutch or French rider, can't they make the strip a bit more British?

What do you want the iconic red white and blue stripes to look like?

I think that's about as nice as it is possible to make that horrendous DSM kit look

It seems the wind has dried the cobbles out a bit, so it's similar conditions to 2016, with the odd mud patch here and there
Let's hope it's a similar race to 2016, as that was a cracker

What time are they likely to hit the cobbles tomorrow? I need to get a 19 mile run in but would also like a bit of a lie in.

From memory cobbles start after 100k or so and the start is 10am BST
So cobbles will start shortly after midday as they'll do the first couple of hours rapid

For any fans of Average Rob and Arno, they had a crack at a few secteurs. I don't think they enjoyed them

I haven’t watched it yet and I can’t watch it all before tomorrow.
From what point in the race should I pick it up?

The last hour or so should be fine. When they start whittling down

Cheers, yes first sector at 96km so based on the last few years that is likely to be just about 2 hours of racing! I’ll aim to get out by 10.30 then which will allow me to get back and showered in time.

Thanks.

Km0 is 1025 so 96k will be around 1220 ish

I don't really understand Pidcock starting
Good luck to him. But it seems mad if you're serious about riding for GC at the Tour
(Happy to have this thrown back at me if he's holding a cobble at tea time)

I managed to watch the final 50kms of the woman’s race and was surprised by how uneventful it was. The cobbles were in far better nick than I expected. Plus, they seemed to favour attacking on the tarmac.
