Good sleep although did get elbowed for snoring apparently. Headed into town for some new specs as the old frames have taken a bit of a beating. Might get my hair shaved off while I'm there. Later is undecided.

So you are not a natural baldy and you have to contrive it.

Morning all. Usual Saturday run in usually dry and sunny conditions. A day of laziness to follow. Sadly taking OH crufts tomorrow so no pedalling.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.0 -
rather nippy in the wind, further road crumbling amid urban deprivation of hampstead
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Morning
Just had head shaved and beard trimmed. Nearly got hypothermia just filling the bird feeders. Not sure it’s fit for riding outside as it cold, very windy and drizzling at times.
Outcome from yesterdays consultation is that I’ve got osteoarthritis in my shoulder and several boney lumps that are impeding movement. So it’s a ultrasound scan to see if there is any tendon damage as well. However I did learn that these days they do shoulder replacements that are as good as hip and replacements. Later is the Farmers daughters choir at the village hall.
Rock and Roll.🤣🤣

Oh man, I would sooooooo love a gloomy day. Yet another baking sunshine day. 34 deg C. Zero cloud cover.
We had one day in early Jan with about a half inch of rain. That’s it. Since early December.
Laundry demolition in progress for new joinery arriving Tuesday. Just a few tiles to chip off the splashback and it’s ready for Others to get busy.

Happy to do a house swap with you for a few weeks WS. If its rain you crave, we got it.

Didn't you have a knackered shoulder tendon a while back? Seem to remember this as I ripped my rotator cuff around the same time.

Well that was a touch breezy!

True - not in the same league of slap headedness as you or Seano, but now I'm getting a bit thin on top I find the BWD (Baldness With Dignity) approach of shaving most it off works best.

W-w-windy and c-c-cold, NE wind bringing lovely spring weather. Not.
AGM of local cycling group AGM-ed; failed to get shot of the money-fiddler role. Still so far out of fitness no way I'm joining the post-event ride. And not in this weather.
So wrap up warm and do some outside garden fettling.

That was the left one, this is the right one.

OK. At least you might end up being symmetrical.

It’s a bit unusual as it’s nearly always my left side that breaks.

Day two of skiing in Lake Tahoe - had worse times.
less drunk this morning, wonder if it will make a difference on the slopes

Yes, you’ll probably be worse.

Not sure I can be worse, first time skiing (snowboarded previously) two goes on the nursery slope followed by falling down the Olympic downhill route

Still below par but not as bad as yesterday

Evening folks,
Good day has been had, a slowish start in the apartment was followed by a nice brunch of pancakes with poached eggs, 'shrooms and stuff. It started raining as we finished so we stayed in the dry and moved on to cocktails. Sun came out so we carried on down to the waterside for coffee, your and tasting of port this afternoon, stayed in the bar with a couple of cloggies and some Portuguese folk. Now resting before heading out for dinner.
Glad my head doesn't need polishing, gets cold enough with a full head of hair.

Beats watching the rugby I guess. Mamma Mia! 😉

What happened to the German girl with her baby?

'He's' got rain. Lol. Come to Jockland.

Was allowed a three week holiday by the courts, German courts said she couldn't return to the UK as it was bad for her and the baby. Appeal from the UK court case was done remotely, appeal judge said the original UK judge was completely wrong and it's obviously better for her to stay in Germany. She was staying at her dad's place initially but now has her own flat and some childcare so she can work a couple of days a week, she's much happier and the baby, now toddler, is visibly much happier. He used to be very quiet and clingy to his mother, now he's more chatty and confident around others.
