3 and a quarter minutes lead. Could be 5 minutes, come the square in Siena.

    This chase group looks dejected

You do really need at least 2 of the 3 classics amigos to turn up to make a race of it

    That was mental

Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

I thought he was going to win solo...just not quite that far out .

Crazy. The team just destroyed everyone else, but he was just getting started.

A spectacular attack, but it resulted in a pretty dull race.

    Leaves one kind of conflicted.

We're all living in Tadej Pogacar's world, he just shapes it to his will.

Well I thought I'd got back from my long run in perfect time to watch the action. Switched on with 78km to go 😧

The good news is that he isn't taking it easy for the classics.

You do really need MvdP and to a lesser extent WvA to make these competitive

I can get my head round how much better he is than everyone else here, and then gets beat relatively handily by Vingegaard in July.

This is precisely when catch-up comes into play. 😉

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

He would probably keep it together by riding on the front for 80km, and then sprinting for 2nd tbf

I thought that this was tomorrow, not today... sad.

OK now I've watched the 1hr highlights and I'm not really sad I thought it was tomorrow now. Much less exciting than previous editions. Will be hard to follow cycling this year if it's all like this, finding it hard enough as it is.
