The WD in WD40 stands for Water dispersal. WD40 was invented for ignition systems in the 50's that were prone to damp and has become a general use penetrating and light lubricant. There are much better 'de-blockers' on the market such as Innotec. You can always use Diesel. It's excellent for un bunging stuff.

Sure but when you have seized bolts/stuff, it's worth it. That will go a long way. The smallest scoosh is sufficient.
I had a cam pulley on my VW van where the bolts were stuck. I left the bolts in de-blocker for 2 days, adding more on occasion. It worked. The alternative was either a broken stud and/or removal of the engine.

I've had heel pain since 2021. It's bloody annoying. I've been treated with exercise; massage; steroids; ultrasound steroid injections and footbeds. Nothing has worked. In fact after the steroids and steroid injections with ultrasound they concluded it wasn't PF after all and was just incurable pain as I have quite bony feet with little fat in the heel pad. Now have some bespoke footbeds with extra spongy heel support. Seem to give some relief but still can't go hill walking which really sucks.

Bad luck, that really sucks. At least the spanner thing costs nothing to try and only takes a few minutes each time... it's certainly found a couple of tender spots, one just behind the ball of the foot by the big toe, and one just in front of the heel on the side at 45°. So far, so good for me, thankfully. And obviously I'm not wearing slippers around the house.

Ordered a new battery for my camper, arrived quicker than expected and is the correct size and wasn't to difficult to change, apart from it being under the cab floor and a bit awkward to get to.

Memory flashback to 1975. 4 adults and 6 children driving to Spain for a holiday and back in a VW camper. Fairly sure that would be against the rules these days. Got the hovercraft across too, another thing consigned to history.

🤣🤣🤣 I don't recall anyone being sick on the hovercraft. However, I do not recommend getting a large fish & chips on return to Dover with a large fizzy drink only to be located in the bunk and going on roundabouts. Don't ask, you can guess.

It was a bit choppy and the hovercraft was sort of banging along on top of the waves and the spray meant you couldn't see out of the windows, seemed to be a vomit inducer for most people! (Luckily I don't get seasick)

A French neighbour took a photo today of the village, and I can see my house, right down to the Veluxes... less than four weeks to go now till I'm there 😃 Also nice to see that the ridge leading up from the middle to top left is greening up pretty well after the fire of 20 months ago.
