Managed a decent-ish nights sleep last night for the first time in ages and the alarm got snoozed a few times this morning.
Currently plotting how to stop others from undoing about a month's worth of my work. May have to resort to swallowing keys for later retrieval.

Nut not found, although I don’t want to find it now as I’ve spent £30 on a replacement to date. New nut had been dispatched and should arrive sometime this year.

Rather decent summer day. A bit of breeze on and off, otherwise fine. Slack morning, out for quick lunch and some shops activity, then a turbo ride late arvo. Successfully avoided the list of assigned jobs for another day. Win!

I seem to recall in some distant past memory that one of my Grandmother's cures was swallowing a bit of uncooked bacon tied to some string and pulling it back up. I'm not sure at what point the gagging was meant to start though I'm sure it was pretty early on....

Vest, Helly hansen freeze long sleeve base layer, compression leggings, Roubaix tights, long sleeve Perfetto, over socks, merino socks, Castelli espresso jacket, gloves, glove liners, snood, lined hat...
What a rigmarole. Feet were chilly and the rest of me bordered on comfortable.

Same problem for me in the cold - cannot get enough pairs of socks on to keep my feet warm but no problems with hands, face etc. Don't ask Seano though as he won't know.

Back in work again, follow up with knee surgeon later this afternoon and then the gym.

I might move the turbo into the kitchen for some nicer surroundings.

Afternoon folks,
Another day in the orifice, managed to wobble on a Thursday as the EPO wasn't going in. Chilly out and rather icy in bits of the park. Saw a chap riding towards me doing a poor impression of the okie kokie, one knee in and one knee out. Realised as we passed he'd obviously come off and ripped the knee out of his sexy tights. I was glad to be riding with the snap, crackle and pop of my studded tyres.
Usual nonsense going on here, looking forward to another day of shirking from home tomorrow.

Evening all. Busy day. Ended up being first responder to a kid collapsed in the toilets just after lunch. That was a fun experience. Tired. So very tired. Even dozed off during a spot of tv watching with the adolescent just now. Forgot to post yesterday. Oops.

Most do in our place but not everywhere. Helps that I used to be a first aid instructor and an ambulance tech for the Red Cross a long time ago. Kid will be fine I reckon.
