Mrs. 666 took matters into her own hands and bought a moss scraper thing off Amazon as she didn't like the yoghurt/vinegar option for reasons unknown. Given this took a job off my list I decided not argue the point. Which reminds me, must gee her up about doing more of it 🙂

scraper does fine for the bulk shift. But unless you have 'perfectly' smooth surfaced paving, which is unlikely to be the case, residual moss organisms left behind. And ready to re-multiply in their now uncrowded world. Could be good timing to apply a coat of (must be live) yoghurt after the scraping.

First day back in and my office looked like Christmas day, full of empty boxes and packaging so I've had a tidy up and finished the dual screen set up.
Nice bg bowl of healthy soup for lunch, not sure what this afternoon will bring.

Afternoon folks,
Weather is pretty grim here as well, not cold, but wet and windy. This combined with most schools being off meant I wimped out and drove in, good job too as I had a case of Timmy Taylor's Landlord waiting for me upon my return. Other than that the return to work has been piss poor. The computer system was down for the first couple of hours and our IT bod has pulled a sicky, allegedly he's waiting for an operation of some sort. Maybe it's to stitch on a pair of bollocks as the slacker has never grown a pair.
I think 30" trousers would be rather tight on me too, I can still get into my usual 32" ones though. I'll worry if my waist measurement increases to more than my inside leg. That did happen when I was on steroids with the chemo, don't wish to repeat either. Stood on the pallet scales and I had gained 1kg, could be worse I suppose.
Not much else to report, must remember to put the bins out when I get home.

Evening
First it was a trip in to town to get my Christmas present coats sleeves shortened, then to send Mrs W’s Christmas present bangle back to Iona for a bigger size as well as trip to the bank. All the while the rain was getting heavier and heavier. Tomorrow’s rides not looking good as there doesn’t appear to be any roads in East Yorkshire without floods on them.
Is it supposed to be dark at lunchtime
This afternoon was climbing and I think it will me be making tea.

Yeah, was sent this pic earlier. Had my favourite ever pint of cider in the Hand. Cold, still, cloudy with an almost creamy feel. 8%, went down like water. Tragically they were trialing different ciders every month and we never met again. Never really got over that loss.
