Puncture resistant in my experience but I stopped buying GP4S because of the eye-watering price and the fact they started cracking before I'd worn them out. Rubino Pros on the winter bike now and they seem to be a decent, cheaper alternative.
Pro4 SC on the summer bike for a while but lost 2 in quick succession to sidewall cuts. Replaced them with Pro4 Endurance which feel a bit less flexible but lasting well so far.
Punctures are annoying because of their random nature. Some years I seem to get several, some years I get away with none at all. I'm not worried about invoking the puncture gods at the moment because my knee is fcucked and I can barely walk let alone get on a bike...0 -

I've used Rubino Pros for years as a winter / commuting tyre because they do everything just well enough and are cheap...
Totally happy except the wet weather grip was somewhat lacking, though nowhere near Gatorskaters.
However, stuck the 30mm tubeless versions on when Planet X sold them for £20 each and a revelation. Can run at 50psi improving the ride to not far off summer tyres, and the wet weather grip is totally sorted too.
Wide tubeless massively closes the gap from robust winter tyres to light, fast but fragile summer tyres.0 -
Continental grand prix gt are good. They combine the 'black chilli' compound with a tough carcass. They're tough, grippy and very puncture resistant. They're a bit pricey (like most Continental) but their longevity balances this out a bit.

I'm a huge fan of the gp4s as well, the side wall cracking has happened on both sets. But as someone has said I'm not sure it hinders the performance.
I bought schwalbe ones to replace and pretty happy so far. Not cheap either when I bought last year. But I bought another set for £32 on amazon there a few days ago. Was going to try the Rubinos but I went with what I knew.
I run the ultra sport over winters, and they are on my wifes bike as well. Decent for the money to. Price of tyres has fallen recently, makes me worry they are going to try and push us all into the tubeless wagon....0 -
