Bubbling paint on seatpost clamp

Hi All. Looking for some advice on how to go about getting a seatpost clamp repainted. My frame has a paint matched seatpost, frame and clamp, but the clamp is showing some bubbling. My question is, do you guys think it would be ok just to get it repainted- or should I buy a new clamp and get that painted instead?
Also, any pointers on the best people to do this for me?

    Seriously, I would just leave it and ride your bike. On the other hand, as long as you have the paint code, just rub it down and paint it yourself.

    Sorry - am i missing something?

    why wouldn't it be ok just to rub it down and respray with rattle cans?

    why would you want to take it to someone to respray?

    two options offhand:

    1. leave as. no one will notice
    2. exact colour match from motor paint factor, respray ypurself
    .

    Thanks for the replies. It’s not so much the appearance, as what it might indicate underneath really. I’m worried that the bubbling paint might be an indicator of corrosion of the clamp.

    its 99% a paint failure where moisture has got underneath the clamp and caused the paint to bubble.

    to be sure, take the clamp off, take all paint off and respray/replace.

    or just leave it.

    personally i'd go with the latter but i like living on the edge.

    Looks a bit like powdercoat to me anyway - either that or it's been painted using a soft broom and a bucket...
